Located at 53 Frederick Street, the property was formerly known as No.53 Frederick Street Guesthouse. From here, many of Edinburgh’s best-known attractions are within easy walking distance, including Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish National Gallery, the National Museum of Scotland, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
We are just a few minutes from Princes Street, with convenient access to Edinburgh’s main bus and tram routes, and around a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley railway station. Prince Frederick Guesthouse takes its name from Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany (1763–1827), son of King George III. Today, the character of this traditional Georgian townhouse is complemented by newly refurbished interiors and welcoming, comfortable rooms.
